# Card suspended

This [Issuing](https://www.checkout.com/docs/card-issuing.md) event occurs when you suspend a card.

## Webhook fields

| Field name | Description |

| `card_id`<br>`string` | The card's unique Checkout.com identifier. |
| `reason`<br>`string` | The reason why the card was suspended. This can be one of:<br><br>- `suspected_lost`<br>- `suspected_stolen`<br>- `first_contact_chip_authorization`<br>- `invalid_cvc2_threshold_exceeded` |
| `suspended_on`<br>`string` | The date and time when the card was suspended, in ISO 8601 format. |
