# Identity verification opened

This [Identity Verification](https://www.checkout.com/docs/business-operations/manage-identities/verify-identities.md) event occurs when you create an attempt and the URL is available.

## Webhook fields

| `id`<br>`string` | The event's unique identifier, prefixed with `evt_`. |
| `type`<br>`string` | The event type. This value is always `identity_verification_opened`. |
| `version`<br>`string` | The webhook's version. |
| `created_on`<br>`date-time` | The date and time when the event occurred, in UTC. <br>Standard – ISO 8601 code <br>Format – `yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss.ss` |
