# Collect verification information When you submit an application to onboard a sub-entity, you need to provide Checkout.com with specific information for compliance and verification purposes. --- ## Entity information The information required depends on your account type: - `Lite` accounts – The information is the same across all supported regions. - `Full` accounts – The information varies depending on regional regulations. The details you provide also depend on whether the sub-entity is a company or a sole trader. - Sole trader – Provide information about the individual represented by the sub-entity. This includes their name, address, contact details, and financial information. - Company – Provide information about the business sub-entity. This includes the business name, business type, registered address, and details of the company’s representatives. > **Information** > > For the full list of information required, see the [Onboard an entity](https://api-reference.checkout.com/tag/Platforms/#operation/onboardEntity) endpoint. You can provide the minimum required information for onboarding, and save it as a draft. However, Checkout.com only starts the verification checks when we have all the required information. If you do not provide the necessary details, the sub-entity's status remains as `requirements_due`. For actions you need to take for this status, see [Requirements due](https://www.checkout.com/docs/platforms/manage-sub-entities/sub-entity-status.md#Requirements_due). > **Note** > > Your sub-entity cannot process payments or receive payouts until it has passed the verification checks. --- ## Supporting documents for sub-entities (Full account only) For `Full` accounts, Checkout.com conducts multiple verification checks during onboarding. As part of this process, we may request additional documents. Each uploaded document must meet certain standards to be accepted for verification.
